Since 2001, teams of filmmakers ranging from aspiring to professional spend one sleepless weekend writing, directing, acting, shooting, editing, and everything else you need to do to make a movie. Teams are given a genre, a prop, a character and a line of dialogue to make an entire short film in just 48 hours. This weekend, see the results from Minnesota’s teams. The filmmakers with the winning movie will go on to compete in Filmapalooza 2023, where competitors from around the world have a chance to win a slot at the Cannes Film Festival 2023 Short Film Corner.
