While Open Streets festivals are always a treat, this year Seward’s is extra special. The co-op’s 50th anniversary this year and Franklin Ave. will be filled with food, music and more. In addition to $5 Community Meals made from the co-op’s ingredients, the local market boasts vendors like Nixta Tortilla and Northstar Kombucha. Grab a plate and eat while listening to the music of Talia Knight, Malamanya, and other local favorites. No matter your age, there’s tons to explore and it’s a great way to get to know the neighborhood. Participate in the Minnesota Prison Writing Workshop, screenprint a grocery bag, or hang out in the bounce house.
