This annual ode to the champagne-like Cuvee de Boom ale that’s a signature of Boom Island Brewing has blossomed into a full weekend anniversary shindig. Celebrating 11 years of brewing, the brewery is rounding up a selection of food trucks like K-Town Street Foods and Jamo’s New Zealand Pie Co, live music headlined by Erik Christenson, local artisans, and even puppies (Secondhand Hounds is bringing some cuties to tempt you on Saturday). This year they’re releasing a rosé version of Cuvee de Boom, a hybrid of Belgian blonde ale and White Zinfandel, available on draft and in bottles to take away.
