The pandemic is so weird. Things you think would maybe survive—like a cool West Bank bar, club, and bocce court like Part Wolf—close up . . . because the building was sold. Then places you think would be around until the end of time, like Seven Sushi & Steakhouse, shut their doors and blame mandates and crime. And the Uptown movie Theater will become a music venue eventually? Who can even keep up. This week The Great Northern continues its really remarkable festival, read more below, and we plan to celebrate the Ides of Winter with a trip to a snow tubing hill and urban sauna (we’ll report back on Thursday).
