Swedish punk band Viagra Boys are coming to the First Avenue Mainroom. Their music has been described as “ugly gonzo post punk,” a nod to predecessors like Dead Kennedys, Suicide, and Butthole Surfers. It’s gritty, it’s dirty, it’s loud, it’s smart and funny, and it’s fun as hell. The band first gained prominence through their 2017 album Street Worms, and this performance will be in support of their latest album Cave World. The Steens open.
