A name like Thelma & The Sleaze does a lot of lifting to convey just how much Nashville’s indie all-female, queer rockers combine cleverness with badass-ness, how much they mix heavy rock ‘n’ roll with southern old school blues and sleeveless denim. Their acronym is TATS for crying out loud! Thelma and the crew will slink through the Hook’s aptly named ‘Hook After Dark’ with hometown heroes Eleganza! as openers, some scoundrels who similarly worship at the musical altar of classic rock.
