A prolific artist in many mediums, Hüsker Dü’s Grant Hart went on to have an incredibly rich career after the acrimonious demise of the St. Paul punk trio. Fueled by his deft use of melodies and appreciation of different sounds and styles, while still maintaining a lot of the energy and DIY ethos of his younger music, Hart’s catalog to this day makes for engaging listening. His many excellent songs receive the tribute treatment from a who’s who of Minneapolis and St. Paul musicians in the 7th St Entry—where Hart has both his own star and one for Dü—including Rank Strangers, Teenage Strangler, Ryan Sexton and many more.
