Brittney Parks (stage name Sudan Archives) has made a name for herself with her unique blend of R&B influences, hip-hop, experimental electronic, and West African music, and now she’s bringing it to the Fine Line in support of her 2022 album Natural Brown Prom Queen. The latest album, the followup to her 2019 full-length album Athena, uses her signature technical looping style and reflective lyrics to create a beautiful and danceable album that will definitely make the show an energetic one. She will be supported by Lula Be, a first-generation Ethiopian musician influenced by both her African roots and her childhood growing up around the Chicago music scene.
