Postcards from Within—Random Ramblings of an Ordinary Human Book Launch

Savita Harjani celebrates the launch of her literary debut and memoir Postcards from Within—Random Ramblings of an Ordinary Human with a reading and social hour at the Weisman’s Dolly Fitterman Riverview Gallery. Born in Bombay, Harjani moved to the United States when she was 20, and has lived in Minneapolis for the last three decades, practicing law after attending Hamline Law School. In 2016, she returned to India to take care of her mother, and from there began a new path as a writer. Postcards examines her time as a caregiver and what she calls the “privilege bestowed upon me to be able to take care of the one who gave me life and took care of me.” THURS 7/20, 6 PM, Free, All Ages
