Long a student of the genre, Nathan Williams has toured the world, bringing the upbeat, danceable, Southern Louisiana music to the masses, including stops at Lincoln Center and The Grand Ole Opry. Nathan & The Zydeco Cha Chas, which includes Nathan’s brother Dennis on guitar, cousin Allen on bass, and nephew Djuan on drums, plays a mix of originals and zydeco covers of classics that are sure to get the crowd on their feet. Also on the bill is hometown street band The Brass Messengers, who, with their wide variety of influences, can—and often do!—bring the upbeat tunes for any occasion.
