Murder and Monsters: The Story of Harry Hayward and Other Victorian Horrors

FRI-SUN. 10/28-10/30 7-9 PM. $50.

What made a monster throughout history? What were people scared of? Head to the Hennepin History Museum to hear all about the “Minneapolis Svengali” Harry Hayward and explore artifacts directly related to the man himself, his execution, and his victims, such as his hanging rope and a dress from one of his victims. Stick around to learn more from Reverend Matt’s Monster Science about what made a monster in this time and what they tell us about the people who were afraid of them. This is a special fundraiser for the museum that is two nights only, so be sure to book your tickets now so you don’t miss out on a minute of this spooky Minneapolis history.
