There are many, many reasons you should go to this event, if not just to tell your coworkers Monday that you spent your Saturday at Deathfest. Eight of the heaviest, brutalist, head-banging-est metal bands from the country will light up the stage at Amsterdam Bar & Hall. The lineup includes Twin Cities bands like Coffin Rites and Semtex, and further afield groups like UNMERCIFUL, Gorgatron, and more. This is the first and only Deathfest, so don’t miss it.
