Don’t miss local author and legislator Kathleen Vellenga as she releases her latest novel, Tides of Kennebec, at Magers and Quinn. This is the third novel in a series, following Strangers in our Midst and In the Midst of Beauty, which detail the sustaining power of the unique friendship of Elizabeth and Attitash. In her novels, Vellenga draws on her 14 years of experience as a Minnesota Legislator, where she worked to establish multicultural family centers across St. Paul for Indigenous families in Minnesota. The event is free, but registration is required.
