Jens Lekman at the Cedar Cultural Center

Jens Lekman, the Swedish singer-songwriter whose soothing voice matches cavalier, wistful lyrics with sunny instrumentals, visits the Twin Cities for a show featuring works from his earlier catalog along with sneak peaks of in-progress songs. His Minneapolis stop is a solo show, but many of Lekman’s shows in the tour will incorporate local youth orchestras, a plan he devised in 2015 and has only this year had the chance to put into action. Violinist Leslie DaShazor joins to provide the powerful strings that saturate so many of the tracks. SAT, 8 PM. $25.
