Head down to Magers and Quinn for a conversation with Cynthia Newberry Martin about the release of her first book, Tidal Flats. The novel tells the story of a couple learning to navigate what they want for themselves and the things they want for each other, as they come up to their third anniversary. Tidal Flats won the Gold Medal at the 2020 Independent Book Awards, and Martin is also set to release her second book in April of this year. She’ll be joined in conversation by local essayist and literary critic Michael Kleber-Burr to discuss their work. The event is free, but registration is required.
