BARd Shakes: Romeo & Juliet

If it weren’t for the bubonic plague, the ending of Romeo and Juliet could have had an entirely different outcome. Now that all of us can relate to the inconveniences and tragedies of life in a pandemic a little too well, the Shakespearian play might hit viewers a little harder than when they read it for the first time in school. Seeing the play performed by BARd Shakes at least lets you experience it again with a craft beer in hand. The local theater company takes the show to the Market at Malcolm Yards where the actors will use the Blueprint Room as their stage and will take audience members as active participants. Show up early for the bear-baiting. TUES. 7 PM. Free.
