Avant Garden is the Walker Art Center’s annual benefit supporting their mission to “empower people to experience the transformative possibilities of the art and ideas of our time and to imagine the world in new ways.” The centerpiece of the benefit is the exclusive art auction that showcases pieces across disciplines. Held outdoors in the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, guests will enjoy exquisitely prepared food, craft cocktails, and a spectacular dance party hosted by DJs queenDubin and Talib Kweli. Larger donors can enjoy a cocktail reception, gourmet dinner in the garden, and an additional musical performance.
