After never receiving a formal release, Michael Roemer’s 1984 thriller Vengeance is Mine is finally getting its big-screen debut at the Trylon. The film follows Jo (Brooke Adams) as she goes home to visit her dying adoptive mother. As she unsuccessfully attempts to heal the wounds of childhood, Jo realizes that her friendship with Donna (Trish Van Devere) has pulled her into another family drama. The film was originally shot as a part of PBS’s American Playhouse anthology series, but 2022 marks a new chapter as the film is released in cinemas for the first time ever.
