From Spanish Golden Age playwright Ana Caro de Mallén, the story follows Leonor, who vows to restore her honor and seek justice after being jilted by Don Juan’s broken promises. Disguised as Don Leonardo, she slowly gets her revenge on her ex-lover and meets a wild cast of characters along the way. The play will be performed by the A Guthrie Experience, a company of 10 graduate actors who have been participating in a theatrical intensive throughout the summer. This classic Don Juan story, told through a feminist perspective, is a can’t miss.
