One of the unsung art spots in Minneapolis-St. Paul, The Museum of Russian Art (TMORA) has been delivering world-class art exhibitions for 20 years now. To celebrate the milestone, the Museum launches TMORA: 20 Years, which puts the Museum’s story on display, providing a thank you to its supporters and showcasing the venue as “a source of visual, experiential knowledge about the vast and often troubled region that was the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union”. It couldn’t be more timely: TMORA also presents the opportunity to learn more about the diverse cultures of our fellow Minnesotans, immigrants from the region, including those arriving recently to escape the perils of Putin’s regime.
