The Clash in RUDEBOY

What’s the most critical response someone could have after seeing a movie about themselves? When the Clash saw the partly fictional documentary about themselves, they created badges that read ‘’I don’t want Rude Boy Clash Film.’ Though the story of a Soho sex shop worker quitting his job to become a roadie for the Clash, becoming witness to 1978 Rock Against Racism concert and the recording of their album Give ‘Em Enough Rope didn’t win over the Clash or critics, it won an honorable mention at the Berlin International Film Festival, and has garnered a cult following. Come to the Trylon to see why. WEDS. 7-9:30 PM. $12.
