The 48 Hour Film Project

Over the weekend of June 9-11, filmmakers of all levels of experience and pedigree are tasked with writing, shooting, and editing a short film that will be shown tonight at the Parkway. Since 2001, the project has been an annual film competition that assigns a genre, a character, a prop, and a line of dialogue to filmmakers and they then have 48 hours to make that film! The winning film will go on to Filmapalooza in Los Angeles to compete for a chance to go to the Cannes Film Festival. WED 6/21, 6:30 PM, $12, All Ages
