Teatro de Pueblo is Minnesota’s only professional Latine theater group, with offices embedded in Saint Paul’s West Side, the heart of the community it serves. Its focus on highlighting Latine culture through artistic expression has remained central even as the company’s audience has expanded, reaching audiences with over 100 performances and school programs since its inception. Join them at the Midtown Global Market for a birthday party that will feature spoken word by Maria Isa Perez, music from Ina Yukka, kids’ crafts, and a performance by the raucous acting troupe behind Teatro’s podcast Coco Barrio. Bring the whole fam, enjoy food from Salsa a la Salsa and Manny’s Tortas, and celebrate 30 years of bringing Latine stories and culture to life through theater.
