Fresh off of releasing her latest book Our Missing Hearts, best-selling author Celeste Ng’s (Little Fires Everywhere, Everything I Never Told You) joins Kerri Miller to discuss her work on Talking Volumes. Our Missing Hearts tells the story of a 12-year-old boy trying to find his mother in a world where the government can relocate children of oppositionists and remove literature in an attempt to maintain ‘American culture.’ The novel dives into themes of the power of art, injustice within civilized communities, and what we pass on to our children.
