Talk of the Stacks with Charlayne Hunter-Gault

Head down the Minneapolis Central Library for a discussion with Emmy Award-winning journalist Charlayne Hunter-Gault. For more than 50 years, Hunter-Gault has carved a path for herself in storied newsrooms like The New York Times and The New Yorker. Throughout her experiences, she chronicled the stories of Black people in America. Her newest book, My People: Five Decades of Writing About Black Lives, spans from the Civil Rights era to the modern day. She will be joined in conversation by local radio and podcast host Lissa Jones. The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
