Prior to the 1950s and 60s, Rondo was a booming African American neighborhood full of business and community. The neighborhood was destroyed to make room for I-94, resulting in the displacement of numerous businesses and over 500 families. Keith Baker, Executive Director of Reconnect Rondo, joins The Theater of Public Policy to discuss what would happen if a land bridge was constructed over the highway and Rondo was rebuilt. T2P2’s long-form sketch comedy breaks down large, complex topics to make them less intimidating to a wider audience and is perfect for political newbies. TUES. 7 PM. $14.
