It’s a Philadelphia takeover! Strand of Oaks’s Timothy Showalter can make a big room intimate
or a small room seem huge. It’s the beauty of a sound that can lean into both Americana-
esque simplicity and room-filling anthems. Showalter just released an all-acoustic version of the
2021 album In Heaven featuring smashes ‘Galacticana’ and ‘Sunbathers,’ and will soon fill theTurf Club with the same soul-fulfilling music.
