Support and celebrate the Southside community this weekend. The Soul of the Southside Juneteenth Festival boasts a day full of music from artists like hip hop duo iLLism (who’ve played at Super Bowl Live, Paisley Park and more), soulful vocalist Kashimana, ‘kaleidoscopic collision of rock, funk and soul’ Blackfish Movement, and more. The day starts off with a big musical intro that includes members from each performance that day. Additionally, award-winning author Micheal Kleber-Diggs, painter Sean Garrison, and others will make appearances. If you needed any more reason to go, Soul Bowl and Official Fried Chicken will have food trucks set up. SUN. 1 – 6 PM. Free.
