Rich Mattson & The Northstars grace Palmer’s tonight, down from the Iron Range and Mattson’s haven, Sparta Sound for a rare show this summer. With a songbook as deep as a mine, the only thing you can expect from the Northstars are a few tunes from last year’s stellar Out There LP. Germaine Gemberling will likely mix in a few of her fantastic originals, as well. Manias is a new band of old friends, leaning towards a catchy, shoegaze sound.
