MetroNOME Brewery hosts three local jazz legends tonight downstairs in Fingal’s Cave, a performance space inspired by a famous Scottish cave bearing that name that was known as “the cave of melody.” RED PLANET is comprised of Dean Magraw (guitar), Chris Bates (bass), and Jay Epstein (drums) and has been playing as a trio for the last twenty years, be it their own originals, or anything from Coltrane to Hendrix. These days, they’ve been playing the first Tuesday of every month at MetroNOME, and tonight should be a great time to cool off in a melodious Lowertown Cave. TUES 6/6, 7 PM, Free, All Ages
