The long-running queer artists showcase Q-STAGE returns to Red Eye Theater with a full slate of theater, dance, vocal, and film performances spotlighting the creative labors of the Twin Cities’ LGBTQ+ community. Presented by the local QTPOC-led arts organization Lightning Rod, their most recent event featured new performance art from Lightning Rod Core Artist Ensemble members Valerie Oliveiro, Judy H Shuǐ Xiān, and Marcela Michelle, as well as workshops led by working artists. July’s event features work by writer aegor ray, movement artist Demetrius “ImagineJoy” McClendon, and theater artist Ricardo Beaird. A diverse and vibrant slate of talents and performers promises some of the most unique Twin Cities arts experiences of the summer.
