Singer-songwriter and self-taught guitarist Pieta Brown has an ethereal voice that lends a meditativeness to her music–think Big Thief vibes, but for folk music. Her repertoire is influenced by the folk traditions she was exposed to by her father and folk singer Greg Brown and has earned her acclaim leading to tours with the likes of Mavis Staples and Brandie Carlile and collaborations with Calexico and Amos Lee. Her Icehouse debut should be a cozy affair. The equally atmospheric St. Anthony Mann, with whom Pieta has collaborated, opens. SAT, 8 PM. $20 advance/$25 day of. All Ages.
