Hmong photographer Pao Houa Her’s new exhibition Paj qaum ntuj / Flowers of the Sky centers the experience of Hmong Americans in Northern California. After seeing a newspaper article on the ‘Green Rush,’ referencing the amount of cannabis growing that was attracting farmers to the area, she started photographing the landscape.
