Brewery-hosted music festivals might be ubiquitous these days, but a decade ago the minds behind Nershfest were pioneering the concept. This year they commemorate ten years of bringing together craft beer fans and emerging local music with and are celebrating with a heavy duty lineup: General B and the Wiz, Superjam, Mae Simpson, Barbaro, Purple Funk Metropolis, and Shotgun Ragtime Band. A few years ago Nershfest found its forever home at North Loop’s Inbound—which is consistently dedicated to promoting local music and also makes a mean sour. Participants can expect a block party that commendeers off the side and main streets surrounding the brewery, with plenty of space for bopping, choice food trucks, and pup-friendly shade spots. Don’t miss your chance to sip Inbound’s limited edition Nershi Nectar IPA, released specially for the event.
