Fans of foods that taste better than they look can rejoice as Hook & Ladder Theater’s annual morel mushroom-centric fundraiser returns after a two-year pandemic hiatus. This year’s event features morel-based dishes from seven of the Twin Cities’ top chefs, including representatives from Owamni, Cosetta’s, St. Genevieve and more. The Morel Feast festivities also include a snack and cocktail hour with complimentary wines and Summit beers, plus live jazz music by Mill City Hot Club. Best of all, the proceeds go to keeping one of the most essential non-profit music and arts venues in Minneapolis up and running. You could say attending this event is a… morel obligation? SAT, 6 PM. $100.
