Presented by Applause Community Theater that showcases Minnesota playwrights, More One Acts? Heck Yeah!, is “one-act festival [exploring] the theme of redemption and the quest the characters are taking or refusing to take.” The first of three one-acts, The Piano Teacher by Terry Newby, explores the lingering effects of hurting others and of those who hurt us, and asks “Do we ever really forgive and forget?” Reunion Forever by Cori Paulet and Terry Newby follows four high school students getting ready for their class reunion, and are confronted with the choices they made years before. Finally, Decoration Day 2005 by Roger Barr is a heart-wrenching story about how grief can rip you apart and push you farther from those who love you. Bring tissues.
