Join The Loft Literary Center as it introduces its theme for 2022-23 that will inform yearlong events and programming: narrative power. Writing as revolution and rebellion is a longstanding tradition, and a focus on a word’s power and ability to drive change, disrupt status quo, and dive into the uncomfortable will be celebrated and explored all year long. The kickoff event also serves as a welcome celebration for incoming Loft executive director and poet Arleta Little and will feature spoken word and poetry readings from 2023 McKnight Artist Fellows.
