Go get folky with musicians who’ve performed everywhere from Minneapolis to Transylvania. Hosted by the Museum of Russian Art, three different groups and artists come together to celebrate folk music of Romanian, Yiddish, New Orleans, and Americana origins. The night features the original folk stylings of the Minneapolis band Soul Trouvère; modernized American traditional artist McKain Lakey; and the folk-harmony collective Red Thread who sing traditional music from Eastern Europe, Ireland, Britain, and U.S. immigrants.
