Spend your Fat Tuesday on the West Bank with two of the brassiest acts in town. Expect an “anything goes” attitude toward the tunes, as these bands have a background in everything from the amazingly titled genre “beer jazz” to backing local rockers Eleganza on The Rolling Stones’ decadent Exile on Main St. Mardi Gras drink specials, King Cake, and the stage overflowing with what the Messengers call “anything that fits into brass tubing.”
