Borealis Dance Theater’s mission is to connect human experiences through thought and movement, creating performances that resonate personally with their audiences. Their work is also constructed with a close eye toward inclusivity and accessibility, and presenting works through film helps connect audiences of every ability with the artistic visions of dancers, choreographers and dance filmmakers alike. Since dance is traditionally viewed in a live theater setting, this last art form is often under-appreciated. The Camera North Film Festival will feature international works that not only showcase the sheer beauty and variety of movement, but also the creativity of filmmakers who bring dance to the screen. WEDS, 7 PM. $10-13.
