His intense touring schedule—he’s on the road more than 300 days a year—means he’s a live-music master, even sitting in with Jimmy Kimmel’s house band as a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live (ABC) from SXSW 2015. Willie Nelson even says he’s one of his biggest fans. Openers Black Widows bring their self-proclaimed “Surf-Roxotica” or “atmospheric surf-rock with a twist,” too.
