Cinema of the Macabre: Nightbeast (1982)

The weekly series of spooky, gory, schlocky films out at Willow Creek just gets better and better. Nightbeast (1982)is a science fiction horror film directed by cult director Don Dohler. It is a remake and sequel of sorts to Dohler’s first film The Alien Factor. The story concerns a small town sheriff who must stop a rampaging alien from killing the residents of Perry Hall, Maryland. As always with Cinema of the Macabre, make sure to arrive early to these COTM screenings for a 15min curated pre-show that played before the film made up of vintage clips, VHS segments and vintage trailers, and buy tickets ahead of time.
