Korean-born, Minneapolis-based author Sun Yung Shin’s fourth poetry collection hits bookstores today. The award-winning author’s fourth collection explores grief, violence, and the value of life while pulling sources from traditional Korean burial rituals, Christopher Columbus’s journals, her/their own immigration documents, and more. Joining Shin in conversation comes acclaimed poet, essayist, literary critic, and arts educator Michael Kleber-Diggs and award-winning author Heid E. Erdrich. TUES. 7-8 PM.
