Local publishing group Button Poetry welcomes Junious ‘Jay’ Ward in celebration of his first full length poetry collection, Composition. Ward is the inaugural and current poet laureate of Charlotte, NC, and National Poetry Slam Champion. Each ticket to the show includes a copy of the new book, which “interrogates the historical perceptions of Blackness and biracial identity as documented through a Southern Lens.”
