The anthology Dancing Transnational Feminisms: Ananya Dance Theatre and the Art of Social Justice uses essays, poems, interviews and stories to explore the connection between dance and feminist solidarity. The authors include Minnesotans Ananya Chatterjea, Professor of Dance at the University of Minnesota and Artistic Director of Ananya Dance Theatre; Hui Niu Wilcox, Professor of Sociology, Women’s Studies, and Critical Studies of Race/Ethnicity at St. Catherine University; as well as Alessandra Williams, Assistant Professor of Dance, Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of the Arts.
