An exciting collection of local bands are set to rock the Icehouse stage on Friday night. BIG SALT, a Minneapolis four-piece rock group, headlines the bill with their powerful distorted and ambient guitars, rowdy bassline, rumbling drums, and in-your-face vocals. The Swongos, a three-piece instrumental band from the St. Croix River Valley, will be lending support with their traditional-surf-meets-the-Pixies sound. Jung Yeller rounds out the gig, bringing music that can best be described as ‘Ween meets Queen.’ Scheduled to be an indoor show, these bands will get you grooving with their powerful punk/grunge rock.
