After you follow the parade route from Rice Park down to Mears, stop by the home of the Saint Paul Saints for the Ballpark Hooley, presented by Guinness. In its second year, the festivities include live music by The Serfs and Northerly Gales, Irish dancing, and food and drink specials. Proceeds from the event go toward future parades and local charities—and it can’t hurt as a reminder that baseball season is in our sights.
