Join Ballet Hispánico as they tell the story of the controversial and daring Eva Perón through the ballet Doña Perón at Northrop. The critically-acclaimed ballet is an explosive story about an equally explosive character, the dancehall performer to Argentinian First Lady Eva Perón who was seen as both the voice of the people and a deceitful actress. Choreographer Annabelle Lopez Ochoa uses movement to balance the two competing narratives of Perón’s life, while reclaiming this iconic figure.
