Julie Snidle, the artist behind the Artistic Lichens exhibition at Kolman & Reeb Gallery, will present a speech on the goals she set for her exhibition, why she chose them, and lessons she learned through the process. In addition to that, she’ll give an overview of the encaustic painting (beeswax-based paint) process that she used to create the colorful and dimensional art in her collection.
