Ameet Kamath

TUES. 6/28 6:30-8 PM. Free.

At Ameet Kamath’s shows, the singer/songwriter combines not only jazz and pop, but Eastern mythology and Western culture. Originally hailing from India, Kamath moved to the U.S. and produced his first album, Greasy Rails which Indian music publication Sandbox said bridged the gap between Eastern and Western music. Over the years, Kamath’s music has explored what it’s like to be an immigrant in our day and age, and how to navigate that as well as how to find space as an artist. Bryant Park provides the space for his vocals to shine through.
